Correios, once again, won the World Post & Parcel Awards, an international award, considered the 'Oscar' of postal services around the world. The announcement took place this Tuesday (16), in a virtual event broadcasted directly from the United Kingdom.

For the second consecutive year, Correios is the winner of the award. In this edition, the company received first place in the Cross Border Growth categories, with the new import model through “Minhas Importações” portal, and Customer Service, with  “Compra Fora” and “Packet” services, launched in 2019.

With this award, there are already four trophies received by Correios in the World Post & Parcel Awards. In 2002, the company won, in the Consumer category, for the distribution of textbooks in partnership with FNDE; in 2007, in the Social Responsibility category, with Banco Postal; and last year, in the Customer Service category, with the mega operation of delivering kits for digital TV.

In the 2020 edition, Correios celebrated two more important international recognitions, which reinforced the role of the state-owned company as the largest logistics operator in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.



Correios Packet is the commercial name of the Direct Entry Service for International Parcels – EDEI that allows Correios to receive international air cargo from private logistics operators.



With more than 1 million accesses/month registered in the “My Imports” environment in 2019, the platform offers more convenience to consumers and facilitates access to information and to the import process by postal services.


The “Correios Packet” service, launched in October last year, allows consumers to choose shipping methods that reduce the average delivery time, due to the automatic integration process with the Internal Revenue Service.
